I have been talking to Eden A LOT about the baby in my belly. I am hoping the more we talk about it the more "ready" she's going to be when they actually arrive. Today we sat down and looked at the pictures of the ultrasound. We pointed out the head, the legs, the arms....and then looked and patted mama's belly. Then we ran down the street with our ultrasound pictures to take some pictures of my soon to be BIG sister.
Eden is so excited to be a big sister. She talks about it all the time. She likes to talk about when the baby gets big and comes out of my belly that she is going to hold it and feed it and sing it songs. We talk about how they are going to share a room and she is going to read them the scriptures when it's time for bed... its' all very adorable and melts my mama heart. It makes me love this little girl even more!
We are trying to teach her how to be a BIG sister starting now. Like, she isn't allowed to sleep in mama's bed anymore because she has to be BIG and she needs to wipe her own bum and wash her hands after going potty because she's BIG...and so on and so on. It seems to be working so far but we'll see how much she'll take (I swear she's almost smarter than me already!) I am so proud of my big girl and I know she's going to be an AWESOME big sister!
