TreeHouse

On Monday, Eden and I ventured to the TreeHouse in Ogden.  My mom, dad and Bennett came along for the fun.  This was Eden's first trip to the TreeHouse and she loved it, however, she had some issues with sharing...naturally.

She loved the fire truck.  She could just drive a car all day long.  I thought she would really like the music section but I think she was a little overwhelmed.  She just stared at all the kids running a muck!

She did enjoy the Indian room (mainly because it was deserted) and she loved playing with the horses.  She had even more fun riding the horses..getty up! Queen for the day? Why not?!

Bennett has lots of fun feeding Pa and I some lunch.  He only let Eden wash the dishes which I thought was hilarious!  Oh this kid cracks me up!

And what's an afternoon out with Pa and Grandma if it didn't involve some icecream?

If this doesn't make your mamma heart melt then I don't know what does!

Last Year of Youth

My dear sister Christy turned the big 2-9. So we celebrated her last year of youth...Hutchison Style!

We had a "Last Year of Youth" party. Complete with hot dogs, pudding and finger foods for dinner. We then played tic-tac-toe, spoons and sardines (all our favorite childhood games).  My mom bought these awesome bubbles (featured above) that are colored...so cool.  Anyway, Happy Birthday Christy.  Enjoy it while it last...its all downhill from here. jk

Because Mitzi is Awesome!

So my WONDERFUL friend Mitzi took Eden's pictures again. Pretty much Mitzi is AH-MAZING.  I absolutely love these pictures.  I still regret not getting newborn pictures done of Eden but I think I'm making up for it now.  Mitzi, You will ALWAYS have my business.  See you in September for 2 yr pictures.

Love Day

If there is one thing my mom taught me it's to celebrate every chance you get and Valentine's day may be one of my favs...I love to express my love for all the awesome people in my life.  I am truly blessed in that way.  Today was full of crafts, presents, kisses and lots of love!

We started the night before and made Les his very first Valentines day Card....Eden worked really hard on it...

Then late last night I created our Valentine's presentation

What did I get my two favorite people to express my love....well, I got them some prescriptions...hello, I'm in pharmacy school!

Les' says: Miralax 1capful because I love the crap out of you!
Eden's says: Valium 10mg Take 1 tablet by mouth because you make me happy!!
I think they are hilarious and was very proud of myself.  Here's the sweet card Eden made her daddy.

And what's Valentine's day if not to eat pink eggs, pink apple sauce and a pink heart shaped pancake!

Grandma got Eden this adorable outfit and it matches her Minnie doll which is a big plus in her book! (p.s. She's smiling...not crying)

Eden and I spent our day delivering Valentines to our favorite friends and then we came home to be spoiled rotten by our favorite Aunt Jody. Cookies, doggie AND balloons...Jody you know Eden too well.  She LOVED them.

Then Les' parents came over for dinner and again spoiled Eden with gifts....could they find a bigger balloon?!

I love Valentines day and I have SOO many people I love.  I'm so spoiled by all the family and friends that love and support me...especially while I try to tackle this whole school situation.  I hope you all had a fabulous Valentines that was full of love and candy!

The Eagle has Landed

I'm not sure if you know this or not but my baby sister (a.k.a Eagle) turned the big 20.  Yes, it's true.  My mother now has 6 children all in their twenties....she's crazy.  Well, Eagle, as promised...an Ode to you!

For Tracy's birthday she asked for an enchanted forest themed party.  Full of elves and magic.  Not santa elves, but Lord of the Rings elves.  Well, we worked our Hutchison magic, and let's just say...Awesome was impressed yet again.

We decked out my mom's basement with all our christmas trees and we had the chick-lets color elves for us which we placed on the walls and in the trees.  We even had vines and garland hanging all over the basement.  To add the mystical touch we filled bowls full of dry ice and covered the floor with fog.  It was AWESOME.

This is Tracy seeing our magical basement for the first time. And what's an elf party without some elf ears....oh we went there! For Dinner we had her favorite, Chili's quesadilla salad and it was delic!
What did I get Tracy for her birthday?  Only the best present ever.  If you know Tracy, you know she's anti-jeans (see case above) and so I got her what any logical (and can I say awesome) sister would get the birthday girl....I present you....PAJAMA JEANS!

She was stoked!  My favorite logo from them is this..."Just because your busy, doesn't mean you can't look sharp!" They were on back order so I made her that fabulous card....

Well, my wingman....HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY!  I love your face!
